For All Daughters at Tailleur, Dublin
For All Daughters is now available to discover at Tailleur, 33 Pembroke Street Lower, Dublin 2, a new physical home for the brand in the centre of Dublin.
For us, the significance goes beyond simply being available in a store.
Both For All Daughters and Tailleur began by looking more closely at women in their professional lives: what they wear, what they carry, what they need from the pieces they invest in, and why those needs have so often been treated as an afterthought.
Tailleur approaches the professional wardrobe through tailoring designed specifically around women. For All Daughters began with a similar question around the briefcase.
For decades, the traditional briefcase has carried strong associations with work, authority and ambition, yet very little about its design has reflected the women who now occupy those spaces. We wanted to reconsider it from their perspective, creating something functional enough for everyday professional life, but beautiful and enduring enough to become part of a woman's personal story.
That shared point of view made Tailleur feel like a particularly natural place for For All Daughters.
Designed around women
There is a difference between adapting something for women and beginning with women in mind. That distinction sits at the heart of both brands.
It can be found in proportion and functionality, but also in the less tangible details: how something feels when it is worn or carried, how it moves between different parts of a day, and whether it gives its owner a sense that it was genuinely created with her life in mind.
Craft, considered slowly
There is another connection between the two brands: a respect for craft and for pieces designed to remain relevant beyond a season.
For All Daughters briefcases are designed in Ireland and handmade in Milan by craftspeople drawing on generations of leather-working knowledge, with our signature jacquard woven in Turin by a mill with more than a century of textile heritage.
The intention has always been to combine this heritage of making with a very contemporary understanding of the woman who will eventually carry the piece.
Tailleur provides an environment in which that approach can now be experienced in person.
A more personal way to discover For All Daughters
Luxury is difficult to understand entirely through a screen.
The weight of a briefcase in the hand. The structure of the leather. The woven jacquard inside. The hardware. The way the compartments work in practice. The proportions against the body. These details matter.
Having a presence at Tailleur means women can now spend time with the briefcase, open it, carry it and understand the craftsmanship for themselves, within an environment where the experience is considered and personal.
